1. Who we are
Spiritual Care Simulator (“SCS”) is a program of the Positive Dreamers Collective (“PDC”, “we”). Contact: [email protected].
2. Agreement
Using SCS means you accept these Terms. If you use SCS for a center, you confirm you have authority to accept for that center.
3. Educational use only
SCS is a formation and practice tool for chaplains, students, and educators. It is not spiritual direction, counseling, therapy, crisis support, medical advice, or clinical documentation. It is not an ACPE, BCCI, or other certification decision. Nothing SCS says is a grade or a credential.
4. Simulated people
The patients, family members, educators, and interviewers are fictional and AI-generated. They are not real people. Their responses may be wrong, inconsistent, or emotionally difficult. If a scenario brings up personal distress, stop and reach out to a trusted person or local crisis resources.
5. Accounts
Accounts are created by the Owner or a center administrator. Keep your password private. Do not share an account or a seat. Invitation links work once. We may pause or remove access to protect people or the service.
6. Acceptable use
Do not enter real patient information, protected health information, or anything that identifies a real care recipient. Do not try to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or extract data or keys from the service. Do not use SCS to harass anyone, or to create content meant to harm.
7. Your content and privacy
You keep what you write. How SCS collects, uses, shares, and protects information, including what is sent to our AI provider in Intuitive and Speak modes, is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
8. Centers, plans, and testing groups
Seats, plan, and access dates follow the organization’s agreement recorded by the Owner. Testing-group access ends on its access-through date. When a plan is inactive, practice pauses; sign-in and review stay available. Prices on Plans may change with notice. Refunds follow the written agreement.
9. Intellectual property
SCS, its scenarios, copy, and marks (including Spiritual Care Simulator™ and Positive Dreamers Collective) belong to PDC. You get a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use SCS for formation practice.
10. Availability and changes
SCS is provided “as is” and may change, pause, or have errors. We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will say so in the app or by email. Continued use means you accept the update.
11. Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, PDC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Its total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior 12 months, or $0 for free and testing access.
12. Ending use
You can stop at any time. An administrator or PDC can end access for breach of these Terms or when an agreement ends.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and PDC consent to that venue.
